This is the journal of two not-so-young ladies returning from Australia to Britain. One longed to see Persia and the other wanted to see the Khyber Pass in Afghanistan. The resulting experiences are recorded with an honesty and perception which takes the reader behind the usual tourist facade into real life of the regions they visited. This book is signed and dedicated by the author. The leaves of the text block are lightly foxed, and there is creasing to the covers.
