The Southern railway was the smallest of the four companies grouped in 1923 under the Railways Act of 1921 and its territory was clearly defined geographically in the south and west of England, extending from Broadstairs in East Kent to Padstow in Cornwall. Illustrated throughout with many fine colour photos. The hardboards show light signs of shelf wear and the top of the pages has a little foxing. A good ,tight copy.
