UK The Essex Regiment Association 1952 1st Edition Hardcover Fair Poor Book 8vo - over 7 - 9
This book is a comprehensive account of the Regiment's service from 1929 to 1950. The narrative, which is aided by 38 maps and 42 photographs, is based on official records and first- hand accounts. Although factual and accurate, it is, at the same time, light and interesting reading which should appeal to all past and present members of the Regiment and the many men and women who cherished their County Regiment. The names of many hundreds of officers and men who fought with the Essex Regiment are to be found in this book. The light red hardcovers are lightly faded as is the crimson to the top of the text block. The fore edge of the text block is also lightly tanned. The D/W Has small tears to its edges and the top and bottom of the spine is chipped and nibbled, there is also a long tear down the spine crease of the D/W. and also on the creases of the front flaps. Even though it has seen a lot of use it is still a very interesting book.
